Meet Rachelle Wong, an Edinburgh-based homeware designer whose work is a rich and colourful merging of tradition, culture, and vibrant creativity. Rachelle draws inspiration from her beloved city, her favourite culinary delights, and the vivid tapestry of her Southeast Asian heritage, weaving these influences into her eclectic homeware designs. Her seasonal collections offer a unique spin on fresh produce, introducing a touch of artistic magic to everyday items. Whether it's the allure of an autumnal pumpkin patch or the vibrancy of summer's harvest, her designs bring the outside world indoors, infusing your space with warmth and charm. A graduate of the Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, Rachelle specialises in printed textiles with a strong interest in patterns and embroidery. Rachelle's artistic process begins with meticulous hand-drawn illustrations or textured paper collages, scanned and refined to enhance their vibrancy which are then carefully placed and printed on her iconic tea towels and prints.
