Meet Emma, the creative mind behind Studio Yōki, a small pottery studio located in the heart of Glasgow. Emma's journey into the world of ceramics began a few years ago when she discovered her passion for clay and traditional handbuilding techniques. Armed with a background in visual art and a degree in painting, Emma found herself drawn to the tactile nature of clay, reminiscent of the textures she once explored on canvas. Emma infuses her work with a sense of meditative rhythm, creating each piece with her own hands to achieve a harmonious balance between process and play.
