Each issue is designed, published and printed in Scotland in a single run, and once an issue sells through it isn't reprinted. Subscribers never have to think about it — the shelf simply grows twice a year.

When will I be charged?

Only when an issue is about to ship — shortly before dispatch each April and October. There's nothing to pay when you sign up mid-cycle, and nothing in between issues.
Which issue will I get first?

Your subscription starts with the next issue to be published. Subscribe today and the next issue is the first through your door — if you'd like the current one too, add it to the same order.
Can I pause, skip or cancel?

Yes, any of the three, at any time, through the private link in every subscription email. There's no minimum term and no fee for leaving.
Do you post overseas?

Yes, worldwide from Scotland. Postage is calculated for your address and shown before you confirm, so there are no surprises.
How does the gift subscription work?

You pay once for the next two or four issues, sent to any address you choose. It doesn't auto-renew — after the last issue is posted it simply ends, though many recipients carry it on themselves.
